Debit cards, health cards, ID cards, credit cards — nowadays, all of these are in our wallets and contain an RFID chip (Radio Frequency Identification) that allows us to make payments simply by bringing the card close to a device or scanner, without physically inserting it into a reader.
This new way of transmitting information is certainly convenient and fast, but like many innovations tied to new technologies, it also puts the security of our data at risk.
